PASTORAL
CARE

Promoting the full physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual development of every Pinnacle student — because great education goes beyond the classroom.

Our Purpose

The Hands That Care

Nurturing the Whole Child

The primary purpose of Pastoral Care programs is to promote the full physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual development of students. It also addresses the cultural diversity, mutual understanding and a sense of belonging that fosters school spirit and promotes the social wellbeing of each student.

Pastoral Care plays an imperative role in facilitating Pinnacle College to be in line with its mission and vision values. We believe that the attainment of moral and spiritual development will allow our students to be socially active participants who give back to society.

Each campus has a dedicated Pastoral Care team committed to knowing every student by name, understanding their background, and supporting them to flourish academically, socially and emotionally.

Teacher–Student Meetings

At the Heart of Pastoral Care

Teacher–Student meetings are important to have an effective pastoral care environment and are essential for tracking the progress, wellbeing and development of every individual student.

These structured meetings give students a dedicated space to share how they are going — academically and personally — and allow staff to provide timely support, encouragement and guidance.

Through regular, consistent contact between teachers and students, Pinnacle College builds a culture of trust, openness and care that underpins everything we do.

  • Regular progress reviews and wellbeing check-ins
  • Early identification of academic or personal challenges
  • Personalised support and goal-setting conversations
  • Building strong, trusting teacher–student relationships
  • Connecting students and families to school support services
